Meet the Team

Health & Wellbeing Manager

I have lived in Watford all my life, most of which on the Holywell Estate. I am passionate about where I live and the people within it, particularly the older community. When I was very young I remember befriending a local man who was on his own and he became very much part of our family.

Being part of the local residents’ group helps to keep me abreast of what’s happening in my local area. I’m a very sociable person who loves to meet up with friends old and new and I’m always keen to be involved in organising events and functions.

It’s important to say hello to our neighbours, you never know when you might need a friend to call on.

Project Coordinator

I’m Alison, I live in Abbots Langley and have lived in the Watford & Three Rivers area for over 25 years. I love finding out about new events & activities in my local community, and helping others. I believe everyone has place in society and looking after each other is so important.
I have worked on projects about loneliness and can see the importance of helping all in your community. These have shown me how important it is to be part of a community and how it really impacts on people’s wellbeing. I am looking forward to seeing the positive impact of the Neighbours Together project.

Project Information Officer

I’m Tracy and I’m the person behind the What’s on Guide. I grew up and went to school in Watford and now live in Abbots Langley. I have a young family so I enjoy visiting the lovely open spaces that we have in the area and attending many of the local family friendly community events. I have worked for Watford & Three Rivers Trust for 5 years now and really wanted to be part of the new Neighbours Together project as I have seen what a wonderfully positive impact being socially engaged and feeling part of something can have on someone that might otherwise be at home with very little contact with other people day to day.

Support Worker - Neighbours Together

I have lived in Watford all of my life and enjoy the community spirit, which is still present today in the road where I live and grew up. I’m very sociable and love nothing more than spending time in the company of family and friends.
My hobby is Modern Jive dancing which keeps me busy and active.

I started working for Watford and Three Rivers Trust in November 2018 as an Activity Facilitator for the Getting Together clubs, where I find the work hugely rewarding.  The positive impact on tackling isolation and loneliness is clear to see and I have the benefit of seeing how being socially included has changed our member’s lives.

The Neighbours Together project brings communities together through volunteering and supporting the older population of Watford and Three Rivers to stay connected in later life.  This is something that I feel passionate about and am excited to be a part of it.
