Citizens Advice Bureau - Volunteer Trustee
Citizens Advice Watford is looking for new members to join our Trustee Board.
This is a dynamic role in which you will play an active part in shaping the future of the service. We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you have skills and experience in strategic management, law, HR, fundraising, PR or accountancy, and are willing to commit your time and energy to serving your local community. We welcome applications from all sections of the community to help us achieve a diverse trustee board that reflects our clients and community.
Our Trustee Board meets four times a year, and members attend an annual strategy day and the AGM. Members also serve on sub-committees and working groups, attend ad-hoc meetings as required, and are encouraged to attend monthly workers’ meetings of volunteers and staff. The role of trustee is a voluntary one but all reasonable expenses are reimbursed, and you will gain a great deal of experience and satisfaction, the opportunity to develop your skills and utilise your expertise and knowledge.
