Thank you message for all volunteers from the W3RT Board of Trustees
03 June 2020
To all of you who are kindly volunteering with W3RT and other local charitable organisations, I speak on behalf of the W3RT Board of Trustees, to say a huge thank you. Thank you for your generosity of time, dedication, and hard work during such a challenging period for the Watford and Three Rivers area.
The community and volunteering spirit shows us just what a great place Watford and Three Rivers is - and this work is making a difference.
Your efforts are valued and appreciated by so many of the charitable organisations we support, and by Watford Borough Council, Watford's Mayor Peter Taylor, Dean Russell MP, Three Rivers District Council, the NHS and Herts County Council.
So, from W3RT trustees, thank you once again to all volunteers. Your kindness is very much appreciated.
Peter Wright, Co-Chair of the W3RT Board of Trustees

Volunteers Week 1 – 7 June 2020
Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the contribution millions of people make across the UK through volunteering.
At W3RT we are delighted to work with such dedicated volunteers, covering a wide range of roles. The role of our volunteers has been increasingly important and valued more than ever during the recent COVID-19 response in the local community and UK wide.
We wish to say a huge thank you to all volunteers that have been with us as an organisation from the start, those that have joined us on our journey, and those that have joined us in the recent call out for local community volunteers.
For Hertfordshire, TeamHerts Volunteering have created a ‘thank you’ video to show appreciation for all our volunteers throughout Herts.
